CAFFITALY SYSTEM S24 – THE BEST VALUE FOR MONEY

This machine is a good all-around coffee machine. It is well built and reliable. I like the fact that the pods are much bigger than the Nespresso, so I can get a big and strong cup of coffee. It is a real workhorse that consistently produces a cup of coffee that is as good now as when I first bought the machine, which incidentally is not an expensive machine to buy. As for ease of use, it is just so simple to use. Just drop a pod into the machine, and press a button, and that is the kind of machine I like. The only thing I miss is that the machine does not feature a frother, but hey it’s a cheaper machine so I understand.

CAFFITALY SYSTEM S23 – THE BEST COMPLETE SYSTEM

This is a top-of-the-range machine and comes complete with a milk frother (unlike the S23). The milk frother is particularly powerful and makes coffee a bit too frothy for my taste, but hey, many people like very frothy coffee so do not let that sway you. It makes coffee pretty quickly, thanks to the 15 Bar pump pressure. The machine is pretty compact when you consider it includes the frother as well. The water tank capacity is 1 liter, which is enough for me. All told, it is a great machine and I can see many people falling in love with this model, but at roughly twice the price of the S24, is the coffee frother worth that much to you?

CAFFITALY SYSTEM S22 – BEST FOR THE BARISTA!

This is the top-of-the-range model costing a little more than the S23. It is very similar to the S23 but the milk frother seems less violent and, in my opinion, makes a better cappuccino. This model also has a 1.3-liter water tank and is heavier.

Apart from the better milk frother, I do not see the extra cost makes it worthwhile and the S23 seems better value. If you’re making a lot of coffees and really want to perfect every brew, then this is the machine for you. If you’re a regular family/household then the S23 is perfectly adequate.

I think the S22 is marginally worse value than the S23 and S24, but as with any review, it is based on the individual.

If frothing your milk is not an issue for you, then quite probably the S24 is all you will need.

For a machine that has a built-in frother and consequently more versatility then the S23 is a better option.
