  • Tall glasses
  • Ice cube tray

Ingredients

  • 1/2-1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate sauce
  • Coffee concentrate (2 Nespresso Ristretto Intense coffee pods)
  • Ice
  • Peppermint chocolate candy sticks for garnish
  • Peppermint syrup You'll need some peppermint syrup to add that refreshing peppermint flavor to your frappe.
  • Chocolate syrup You'll also need some chocolate syrup to add a rich and decadent chocolate flavor to your frappe.

Instructions

  • To prepare peppermint syrup, whisk together water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add peppermint extract and remove the mixture from the heat.
  • To prepare peppermint sweet mocha cream, add chocolate sauce along with some peppermint extract and heavy cream in a bowl and mix them well in a blender. Mix until foam is created.
  • Finally, to prepare a drink, take a glass and add coffee concentrate. Dilute coffee concentrate with the desired amount of water.
  • Add some ice and 1 ounce of peppermint syrup to the bottom of the glass and around the sides. Add ΒΌ cup of the sweet mocha cream and pour over the coffee.
  • Garnish the candied glass with peppermint sticks snapped in half and enjoy. You may also add some crushed peppermints on top.

Notes

You can use frozen coffee or espresso cubes instead of regular ice cubes. This will prevent your frappe from becoming watered down and will help you achieve a thick and creamy texture.
Also, feel free to adjust the amount of peppermint syrup and chocolate syrup to your liking. Start with a smaller amount and add more as needed until you reach your desired level of sweetness and flavor.
