My biggest concern was that the coffee made from refillable pods wouldn’t taste anything like the ones I normally buy from Countdown. Boy was I wrong! It took a bit of practice, but now I reckon I make a better brew than I was getting even from the premium pods. 

My husband and I would both make 2 coffees a day using our Nespresso Machine. I was getting concerned with the amount of rubbish we were throwing away and thought there must be a way to refill our own pods – saving the environment, but also a lot of money each week. I found the metal pods at The Green Podsand haven’t looked back since. We have 6 now and like to fill them up ahead of time, so they’re ready to go first thing in the morning.

I had stopped using my Nespresso machine due to the cost of the capsules, and had switched back to regular plunger coffee. I bought 1 reusable capsule to try and have since then bought 3 more. They work a treat and I can enjoy espresso quality coffee for the same price as I was paying for my plunger brew.
