In my opinion, the Nespresso Aerocinno 3 milk frother is the second-best electric milk frother on the market when you consider the price. (Only beaten by its big brother – the Aeroccino 4)
Let me explain why.
Most importantly it takes the guesswork out of frothing milk. You add milk press the button (yep – there’s only one button) and come back 2 minutes later to perfectly frothed milk.
I LOVE THE SIMPLICITY.
But the Aeroccino 3 is not without its faults too. You can only froth one coffee’s worth of milk at a time, and they have a bit of a reputation for breaking. But more on this later..

If you are (let’s say) a regular coffee drinker the Aeroccino 3 is all you need. You press one button. You get perfectly frothed milk, and then you dump it into your coffee. Done. If you hold the button down you can switch from hot foam milk to cold foam milk, but that’s the only option you’ve got.

If you’re after more of the barista experience then you’ll want the Aeroccino 4. This has 4 buttons so you can select the level of froth you want; cold, steamed, latte macchiato, or cappuccino (the most frothy).
